Job Title: Administrative Assistant (AA)Company: Ann’s Christian Learning Center (ACLC) and Eco Waste Disposal & Container Storage Inc. (EWDCS)
Reports to: President, ACLC/President, EWDCS
About the Position
This is a key position during a time of significant growth for the EWDCS and ACLC. The Administrative Assistant (AA) supports senior leadership, with a fifty/fifty split of his/her time working with the president of each company. The AA is responsible for leveraging the Presidents’ time and energy to maximize efficiency and effectiveness, he/she will focus on the following: doing rapid triage on incoming information; serving as a gracious and helpful point person for customers.
The Administrative Assistant acts as a liaison and representative for the Presidents in various settings. As such, applicants must have strong written and phone communication skills, be able to work independently and solve problems creatively. This position ultimately reports to the Presidents, but will interact with the entire organization, keeping information flowing and generating the good will necessary to move the organization forward in its mission.
This is currently a part-time position. The position has room to grow to a full time position, depending on the AA’s skill set.
Company Overviews
ACLC, established in 2004, is a one-to-one and small group, state-approved, private tutoring center. We provide tutoring services to students ranging from elementary to adult level, in Mathematics, Reading, and Writing. In addition to tutoring, the company offers various test prep programs, and a summer program.
EWDCS, starting in 2010, is an independently owned and operated waste disposal and container storage company, servicing businesses, institutions and residences located throughout Massachusetts. Our strategy is to provide our customers with the equipment and management team to ensure that their waste materials and container storage needs are handled in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Duties and Responsibilities

Interacts with customers and associates in person, by phone and by e-mail efficiently, promptly, courteously and accurately. Exercises good judgment, discretion and diplomacy in communications.

Provides regular updates to executive, customers and office staff as required.

Checks details on documents, reports and forms.

Day to day administrative and personal assistant tasks such as mailings, copying, filing, inventory, correspondence composition, and preparing and distributing meeting minutes.

Data management and reporting.

Assists in the maintenance of company marketing plans, social media sites, and other sales mechanisms.

Register new clients for ACLC and EWDCS.

Assist in the planning and execution of all EWDCS and ACLC events.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles: such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and payrolls
